It's a combination of green epidote and red piemontite within a matrix of other minerals — the dramatic color contrast is entirely natural. Despite its name, it's technically not a true jasper but a metamorphic rock. Aboriginal Australians have long considered the Pilbara region where it's found to be sacred land, and the stone carries that ancient, powerful energy.
