Frequently Asked Questions
Are your stones real and natural?
Yes. We sell genuine natural stones and minerals. Most of our inventory consists of naturally formed materials that are in a raw state or has been cut, polished, carved, or shaped after mining.
Where do you source your stones?
We work with established mineral suppliers, lapidary distributors, and small-scale stone specialists who source materials from known mining regions worldwide. We prioritize suppliers that maintain consistent grading standards and transparent sourcing practices.
Each piece is selected based on quality, structure, color, and overall presentation before being listed.
Are your stones ethically sourced?
Ethical sourcing in the mineral industry can vary by region and supplier. While we are not a mining company, we make efforts to work with reputable distributors who follow responsible sourcing practices and maintain transparency about material origins.
We do our best to include origin information in the product listings when available.
Do stones look exactly like the photos?
Natural stones vary in color, pattern, and inclusions. If you are purchasing a “one-of-a-kind” item, you will receive the exact piece shown in the photos. For bulk or grouped listings (such as tumbled stones), the piece(s) you receive will be similar in size and quality, but may vary slightly in appearance due to natural variation.
What is the difference between raw and polished stones?
Raw stones are natural specimens that have not been shaped or polished beyond basic cleaning or trimming.
Polished or tumbled stones have been mechanically smoothed to enhance color, luster, and texture. Carvings and shaped pieces are cut and finished by lapidary artists.
Both are genuine natural materials — the difference is in the finishing process.
Do you sell synthetic or man-made stones?
Our focus is on natural stones and minerals. If we ever offer lab-created or synthetic materials, they will be clearly labeled as such in the product description.
How do I care for my stones?
Most stones can be cleaned with a soft cloth or lightly rinsed with water. Avoid harsh chemicals or prolonged soaking unless you are certain the stone is water-safe. Softer minerals and porous stones require more delicate handling.
Store stones separately to prevent scratching, especially harder materials against softer ones.
Do you offer jewelry?
Yes. We currently carry a curated selection of stone jewelry and plan to expand our collection. As with our loose stones, we focus on material quality and accurate representation in all jewelry listings.
Do you offer bulk or wholesale pricing?
Most of our listings have an option to purchase a larger amount at a discount. These selections are offered to enable you to receive wholesale pricing when selecting a larger quantity. If you are interested in larger quantity purchases, you may contact us directly to discuss availability and potential pricing options.
How are orders packaged?
Stones are carefully wrapped and cushioned to protect them during transit. Fragile or carved pieces receive additional protective packaging to minimize risk of damage.
What if I receive a damaged item?
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within a reasonable timeframe with photos of the packaging and item. We will work to resolve the issue promptly.
Do you accept returns?
Because many of our items are natural, one-of-a-kind pieces, we do not maintain a broad return policy.
That said, we are committed to providing high-quality stones and an accurate representation of every item we sell. Each piece is inspected prior to shipping, and we take care to photograph and describe products as clearly as possible.
If an issue arises with your order — such as damage during transit or a significant discrepancy from the listing — please contact us promptly. We understand that unexpected situations can occur, and we will work with you to find a fair and reasonable resolution.
Our priority is to ensure that every customer receives the quality and service they expect.
